These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and guidelines governing the use of our website and the services we provide. By accessing this website or communicating with us through it, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. We encourage you to read these terms carefully to understand your rights and obligations when engaging with Eleodendro Boutique Hotel.
1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all reservations made through the Eleodendro website or by direct contact with us. Eleodendro is a boutique accommodation located in Plakias, Crete, Greece. By making a reservation, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
These terms are here to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay for all our guests. We believe in clarity, fairness, and mutual respect.
2. Reservations
Reservations can be made via our website or directly with us by email or phone. A reservation is considered confirmed once you have received written confirmation from Eleodendro.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse a reservation if incorrect or incomplete information has been provided, or if payment conditions are not fulfilled.
A minimum stay of three nights applies to all reservations.
3. Rates & Taxes
All rates are stated in euros (€).
Applicable taxes and mandatory government charges are not included in the room rate and will be charged separately, in accordance with Greek regulations.
Any additional services or charges not included in the room rate will be clearly communicated before or during your stay.
4. Payments
Payment terms depend on the selected rate and season and will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
In some cases, a deposit or full prepayment may be required to confirm the reservation. Accepted payment methods will be specified during the booking process.
5. Cancellation & No-Show
Cancellation conditions depend on the rate selected at the time of booking and will be clearly stated in your booking confirmation.
In case of late cancellation, no-show or early departure, the applicable charges will apply in accordance with the agreed cancellation policy.
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
6. Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in: between 15:00 and 20:00
- Check-out: until 11:00
Self check-in is available and will be arranged via a secure link or QR code sent prior to arrival. This allows for a smooth and flexible arrival process.
Early check-in or late check-out may be possible upon request and subject to availability.
7. Age Policy & Occupancy
Eleodendro is an adults-focused boutique stay.
We welcome guests from the age of 16 years and older.
Each suite has a maximum occupancy of 4 guests. This limit may not be exceeded under any circumstances.
8. House Rules
Eleodendro is designed for calm, comfort and relaxation.
To maintain this atmosphere, we kindly ask guests to respect the following house rules:
- No parties or events are allowed
- Guests are expected to respect quiet hours and the comfort of others at all times. To preserve the calm atmosphere of Eleodendro, we kindly ask our guests to keep noise to a minumum between 22:00 and 08:00
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, except on the private terrace of your suite or at the pool bar; smoking is not allowed on walking paths, the roof garden, or any other shared areas
- Food and drinks brought from outside are not permitted in the pool area or roof garden; our bar is available for drinks and light refreshments throughout the day
- The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited on the property
- While we love animals, pets are not allowed at Eleodendro
Guests who do not respect these rules may be asked to leave the property without refund.
9. Use of Facilities & Liability
Use of all facilities, including the swimming pool and hot tub, is entirely at the guest’s own risk.
Eleodendro cannot be held liable for accidents, injuries, loss, theft or damage resulting from the use of facilities, unless caused by proven negligence on our part.
Guests are responsible for their own safety and that of accompanying guests at all times. Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the guest.
10. Climate Resilience Tax
In accordance with Greek law, a Climate Resilience Tax applies to overnight stays.
This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid locally during your stay. The amount is determined by the Greek government and may change without prior notice.
11. Force Majeure
Eleodendro cannot be held responsible for changes, cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural events, extreme weather conditions, government measures, strikes or other unforeseen circumstances.
12. Privacy & Cookies
Personal data provided during the booking process will be handled with care and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Use of our website is subject to our Cookie Policy, both available on our website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Greek law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Greece.
